Summary
We seek a skilled and driven Delphi Developer to join our team at AMOTEK Technologies. In this role, you'll take ownership of business-critical applications that companies depend on every single day, developing new functionality, keeping existing systems healthy and secure, and gradually modernising legacy code without breaking what works. You'll connect Delphi applications to APIs, web services and our own AMOTEK Stack and AI modules, working closely with developers, analysts and strategists to deliver solutions that keep running long after launch.

- Strong ownership mentality, taking features from the first question all the way to release.
- Comfortable working in existing codebases, with a healthy respect for legacy rather than a fear of it.
- Proven ability to dig into unfamiliar code, find the root cause, and fix it properly instead of patching around it.
- Skilled at writing clean, readable, maintainable code that still holds up three years from now.
- Solid grip on relational databases, writing efficient queries and thinking along about data models.
- Experienced in connecting applications to REST APIs, web services and modern software and AI modules.
- Excellent communication skills, translating client questions into technical solutions in plain language.
Let's talk about you
- 2+ years of experience with Delphi and Object Pascal.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with version control (Git) and Agile ways of working.
- Bonus: experience with API development, CI/CD, or migration projects, and familiarity with the modern stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- High adaptability, strong initiative, and the habit of asking questions before assuming.
